Ylona Garcia Marks 10 Years Since PBB With ‘ylona, so far. (live)’

Who didn’t get enamored by Ylona Garcia during her Pinoy Big Brother season? Even then, she was ridiculously talented, smart, confident, and so eloquent for her age. Ten years later, it’s honestly a little surreal seeing just how far she has come.

Ylona is now looking back at that decade with ylona, so far. (live), a nine-track live album released on October 5. Recorded during her 10 Year Manila Exclusive Set, the project revisits songs from different parts of her career, now performed through the perspective of the artist she has become today.

And for the PBB kids: Bailey May is part of it too. Ylona reunited with her former loveteam partner for “o pag ibig (live),” and she’s also been sharing content with Bailey again—which, after all these years, is just ridiculously cute. BaiLona nostalgia is very real.

What makes following Ylona especially interesting is how far her career has stretched beyond the Philippine entertainment scene. I’ve also watched her work with 100 Thieves, where she has become part of its creator roster and collaborated with Valkyrae and Fuslie on “Echoes.”

From the girl we watched grow up inside the PBB house to an artist carving out her own space internationally, ylona, so far. feels like a fitting little full-circle moment, and a reminder that there’s still so much more ahead.
