The Music Run Is Bringing the Party Back to Manila

Who decided running had to be serious?

The Music Run by Acer | Intel, Manila 2026 is returning on September 13 at the SM MOA Complex, bringing together running, music, and a finish-line party that feels a little more festival than race day.
Participants can choose between the 5KM, 10KM, or 5KM Party Pace, depending on whether you’re chasing distance, taking it easy, or mostly there for the vibes.
And yes, the music follows you. (or I guess you follow the music.)

The course is lined with speakers playing music from start to finish, turning the usual morning run into something closer to a moving playlist with a few thousand people joining you. Once you cross the finish line, the energy carries over into the event’s post-run celebration.
The best part? You don’t necessarily have to be a runner.
There’s no official timing, so there’s nothing stopping you from jogging, walking, dancing through parts of the course, or simply convincing your friends that this counts as your weekend workout.
Race kits include an event shirt, race bib, finisher’s medal, and other event essentials, while selected packages also come with access to additional event experiences. Originally scheduled earlier in the month, the Manila leg was moved to September 13 due to inclement weather.

So, whether you’re trying to hit a new 10K, testing out your first fun run, or simply looking for an excuse to put on a cute running outfit with your friends, this might be one race where finishing isn’t really the whole point.
Sometimes, you just run for the playlist.
