Looking for a Night Worth Dressing Up For? The Grand Wine Experience Returns This November

Over 1,000 wines, sake, and spirits, an incredible gourmet spread, and a whole evening of discovery await at Marriott Manila on November 20, 2026.
Some nights are simply worth dressing up for, and if there's one event that deserves a spot on your November calendar, it's The Grand Wine Experience. Returning to the Marriott Grand Ballroom on November 20, 2026, this annual celebration brings together incredible wines, delicious food, and a crowd ready to enjoy a beautiful night out.

Whether you're planning a romantic date, a glamorous evening with friends, or simply looking for an excuse to treat yourself to something special, this might just be the night you're looking for.
And trust us, you don't have to be a wine expert to enjoy it.
Last year, I attended the 22nd Grand Wine Experience, and I still remember just how much fun I had. There was a carving station serving Peking duck, two giant pans of paella, free-flowing sushi, macarons, and more drinks than I could possibly try in one evening.
But beyond the food and wine, what really made the experience memorable was the atmosphere. People were dressed beautifully, couples were enjoying their dates, friends were laughing over glasses of wine, and everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there.

It was glamorous without feeling intimidating, sophisticated without being overly serious, and honestly, one of those events where you suddenly realize you've been having so much fun that the night is almost over.
That's what makes The Grand Wine Experience so special. It's not just about what's being poured into your glass. It's about the conversations, the discoveries, the people you meet, and the memories you take home.
This year's edition promises an equally exciting evening, bringing together more than 1,000 wines, sake, and spirits from 17 countries, alongside selections from over 200 producers.
Imagine sampling Champagne from France, exploring wines from Australia's Barossa Valley, discovering Japanese sake, or finally tasting bottles you've only ever seen on restaurant wine lists. Some of the participating names include Champagne Bollinger, Château Pichon Baron, Frescobaldi, Marqués de Murrieta, Henschke, Inglenook, and Dassai.

And if wine isn't necessarily your drink of choice, there's still plenty to explore. Whisky, Cognac, tequila, gin, shochu, and craft beer are also part of the experience.
The best part is that you can approach the evening at your own pace. You can discover something entirely new, revisit an old favorite, or ask the winemakers and sommeliers about the stories behind their bottles.
It's a wonderful opportunity to appreciate the craftsmanship behind what we drink, without feeling like you need to know everything beforehand.
Of course, we can't forget the food.
Marriott Manila's chefs will prepare a gourmet feast featuring steak, duck, sushi, and other dishes designed to complement the evening's selections. If last year's spread was any indication, the food alone is something to look forward to.

Tickets are priced at ₱9,500 per person, inclusive of the wine, sake, spirits, other featured beverages, and gourmet food throughout the event.
It's certainly a special-occasion splurge, but it's also an opportunity to experience hundreds of producers, explore bottles you might not ordinarily order, and enjoy an entire evening of good food and company in one place.
The event runs from 5:00 PM until midnight, giving guests plenty of time to explore the ballroom, enjoy the different stations, and discover a few new favorites.
If you're thinking of going, make an evening out of it. Dress up, bring someone whose company you enjoy, take your time with the tastings, and arrange a safe ride home.

After experiencing it last year, I'd say The Grand Wine Experience is one of those nights that's best enjoyed without rushing. Come curious, come hungry, and come ready to have fun.
Because sometimes, the best nights aren't about having somewhere to go. They're about having something wonderful to experience.
The Grand Wine Experience 2026 takes place on Friday, November 20, from 5:00 PM to midnight at the Marriott Grand Ballroom, Marriott Manila, Newport World Resorts, Pasay City.
Tickets are available for ₱9,500 per guest through www.grandwineexperience.com.
